From a first idea to the field

Your list.
A world to explore.

01 / CHOOSE A COUNTRY

Bring the wildlife data with you.

Download a country pack with wildlife records and species portraits. The downloaded wildlife data remains available without a connection. Uncached background maps still need internet.

02 / MAKE IT PERSONAL

Give familiar places a new perspective.

Keep track of species you have seen, import a life list, and focus the map on what is still new to you. Groups help you gather the species that matter for a particular trip.

03 / EXPLORE WITH CONTEXT

Records are a starting point.

Browse species, inspect photos and explore recorded locations. Wildlife moves, recording effort varies, and sensitive locations may be approximate. A point on the map is never a promised sighting.

“Which areas are
most interesting for me?”

We’re exploring how your Seen list, the season and your target species can help compare areas. The aim is a useful explanation of what makes a place interesting, with honest limits on the evidence. Personalised area recommendations and route planning are not yet available.
